Carrier Costs

Common carrier costs are the charges from the local exchange carrier (e.g., Qwest) for carrying the data from your site to ours.  This is usually quoted separately so that local exchange carrier charges can be compared.  The usual cost for a 56k frame relay line is a little less than $90 per month. For a T1, the cost is between $250 and $350 per month.  Those wishing to make high-speed data connections must contact the local exchage carrier; of course NMIA would be happy facilitate the process on your behalf.
